이 앨범은 한국예술종합학교 안성수 교수님과

음악에 대한 대화를 하던 중,

특히 Chopin의 곡이

무용수들의 움직임에 효율적이라는 의견에 착안하여

Chopin의 곡들로 선곡, 제작되었다.

 

세기가 인정한 Chopin의 음악은

Mazurka, Polonaise, Waltz, Rondo 등

춤에 근거한 선율이 많으며,

굉장히 자유로운 리듬을 가지고 있어

발레 테크닉을 연습할 수 있는 최적의 음악이다.

 

특히, Chopin의 우아한 French 감성의 선율과 화성은

Developpe와 Adagio를 더 기품 있게 표현할 수 있으며,

Waltz는 그야말로 춤을 추기에 넘치는 곡이다.

그 외 빠르고 역동적인 곡들도

이 앨범을 통해 새로 접할 수 있다.

 

또한, 곡의 탄탄한 음악적 구성은 무용수들로 하여금

각 동작에 맞는 에너지와 감성으로

근육의 이완과 훈련을 수행하도록 도울 뿐 아니라

풍부한 예술성을 길러 준다.

 

이러한 Chopin의 레퍼토리는

Pianist의 노하우를 담아 새롭게 편곡되었다.

 

 

Ballet with “Chopin”

 

This album is comprised of music by Chopin

because these selections best expressed

the dancers’ movements

as discussed with Professor Ahn Sungsoo

of Korea National University of Arts.

 

Mazurka, Polonaise, Waltz, Rondo,

and many other world-renown pieces by Chopin

were the most suitable melodies for each dance.

They also have free-flowing rhythm

that are optimal in practicing ballet techniques.

 

Chopin’s elegant music

that is character to the French style especially helps

express Developpe and Adagio with more sophistication,

and Waltz is a piece that can compel dancers to dance.

Other upbeat dynamic pieces are also available.  

 

In addition, the powerful musical arrangement

not only aids the dancers to warm up and train their muscles

to have energy and passion in each of their movements,

but it also cultivates the art of dance.

This repertoire of Chopin was newly arranged

18년 경력의 피아니스트.

 

 

Mia, the featured pianist,

holds 17 years of experience in her field

and has worked with Professor  Sung-soo Ahn

of the Korea National University of Arts.

 

She provides an efficient improvisation integrating

various genres, including classical and pop

which enables the dancers in ballet classes

to express movements

with increasing beauty and liveliness.

 

Mia is currently working as

    a pianist at Korean National University of Arts
